(All 191 SPT bridges will be converted into RCC bridges thorugh NLCPR/RIDF)

COMMUNITY-OWNED/MANAGED RURAL DRINKING WATER SUPPLY
(Effective functioning of existing 98 RWSS, completion of 15 incomplete schemes and maintenance of 6,000 HTWs through Water & Sanitation Committees (WATSAN)

ü    FIFTH VISION
DISTRICT TOURISM DEVELOPMENT
(Development of Jorhat as a centre of Golden Triangle – Majuli, Kaziranga and Sivasagar with special emphasis on Majuli as  Eco-tourism centre with initial impetus on district domestic tourism thorugh JATRIJorhat Accelerated Tourism Readiness Initiatives).

ü    SIXTH VISION
MAJULI PROTECTION & DECLARATION AS WORLD HERITAGE SITE
(To protect Majuli and develop heritage and eco-tourism through master plan prepared by Brahmaputra Board and proposal for UNESCO world heritage site)

ü   SEVENTH VISION
IMPROVEMENT OF CIVIC AMENITIES IN JORHAT TOWN
(Establishing a right partnership between citizens and Government agencies with main focus on empowering citizens through MATRI JORHAT – MOR JORHAT)
